New Year Honour

The 2dales Junior football club are delighted to report that Mr Ralph Porter
has been awarded the British Empire Medal in the New Year's Honours list
for services to the community in Reeth. Ralph is a Director and Trustee of
the Reeth and Distict Community Sports Club Ltd and Chaired the Committee
which brought the superb facilities that we now enjoy.

Xmas Eve 2012

Match Report

At a meeting on 17th December, the League decided to split the Under 12's
into the Premiership comprising of 2Dales, Catterick garrison, Catterick Village,
Richmond Town and Spennithorne and the Championship including Barton,
and Carperby. Sadly this will mean we will not play carperby this season. We
will therefore, play 10 more League matches this season against the top clubs.

At a meeting with the FA on the 10th December, the League agreed to move
towards Charter Standard. This is now more relevant as the Teeside Alliance
are, we are told, seriously considering not Affiliating to the FA next season.
This would mean those clubs are not playing 'Official Football' and will face
other issues, not least, adequate insurance cover.

24 December                           Reeth v Rest of the World

Christmas Eve

We play 2 matches

Dads v Lads (Lads are former players now over 16). We need volunteers for the Dads please. I would hope some Reeth AFC players will come as usual

Reeth v Rest of the World

Mixed age match from within the Club played across about three quarters of the full pitch in the new goals. Popular with Mums as it runs a lot of energy off

Please let me have your subscription if not already paid.

The Club can only run with volunteers. We  must have a new Child Welfare Officer who would ideally not be a coach but with some experience of children other than as a parent eg a teacher. If we are to run 3 teams next season we need more coaches. The Club has funds to pay for the Level 1 coaching badge.
